When the Lexus UX arrived, it brought a fresh blend of compact luxury and urban agility to the brand's lineup. Now, the 2025 model year debuts major upgrades under the hood that elevate this crossover to true premium performance status. 

The driving force behind the 2025 UX 300h is Lexus' cutting-edge fifth-generation Hybrid System. This advanced powertrain comprises a gas engine, dual motor-generators, CVT transmission, and a new compact lithium-ion battery pack that replaces the previous nickel-metal hydride units. 

The result is an impressive 196 combined system horsepower - a substantial increase from the outgoing model. Credit goes to the higher output from the motors, made possible by an all-new hybrid transaxle design. Lexus also integrated a shift-by-wire system for lightning-quick and seamless gear shifts.

But potent hybrid performance is only part of the equation. The 2025 UX 300h comes standard with Lexus' AWD system featuring an additional permanent rear synchronous motor for enhanced all-weather traction and control.  

On the road, you'll experience the crossover's agile driving dynamics derived from a low center of gravity and precision-tuned chassis and suspension systems. This UX is born to carve corners.

Safety and tech sees a generous infusion too. Advanced driver aids get more capabilities, while upper trims gain a larger digital instrument cluster to keep you fully engaged from behind the wheel.
